Sorting books is the quiet pleasure of every librarian, professional or amateur. The latest update makes cataloguing simpler, with two new features: ready-made shelves, and series that keep your volumes in order.
Pick a genre, the shelf is already there
On a book's page, a list of predefined genres awaits: Fiction, Crime & thriller, Science fiction, Fantasy, Comics & manga, Children & teens, History, Biography... Select one, and the book lands on the matching shelf. Nothing to create, nothing to configure.
Your own shelves aren't going anywhere: you can still create them your way ("Living room", "Fiction > SF"...) and combine both.
A collection becomes a series, in one tap
Some collections are actually series: a trilogy, a saga, the adventures of a recurring character. On the collection page, a simple "Series" switch now treats them as such: each book becomes a numbered volume, which you can reorder with a fingertip.
At a glance, you see which volumes are in your library and which ones are still missing.
