How to connect with friends

You can connect with other readers in two ways: by scanning a QR code or by sharing an invite link.

By QR code (in person)

1. Open the Network section
2. Tap "Connect a library"
3. Show your QR code to your friend, or scan theirs
4. Once connected, you can browse each other's catalogs

This is the simplest method when you're in the same place.

By invite link (remote)

You can also send an invite link via messaging, email, or any other channel:

1. Open the Network section
2. Tap "Share an invite link"
3. Send the link to your friend via your favorite messaging app
4. When your friend opens the link, BiblioGenius opens and offers them to accept the connection

The link contains the information needed to establish the connection, including encryption keys.

Secure connection

The connection between libraries is end-to-end encrypted, regardless of the method used. Only the books you choose to share are visible to your contacts.
